rsumr is operated by [COMPANY_NAME_AB], a company registered in Sweden. Throughout this policy, “rsumr”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to this entity.

What we collect

When you use rsumr, we collect:

• Account information: your name and email address when you sign up.
• CV content: the text extracted from files you upload, and the AI-improved versions we generate.
• Usage data: how many generations you have used.
• Billing information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

How we use your data

• To generate your improved CV, ATS scores, and cover letters.
• To enforce your plan limits (Free vs Pro).
• To send transactional emails related to your account (e.g. billing receipts).

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising. Your CV content is not used to train AI models.

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate rsumr. Each processes data only as necessary to provide the service:

• Anthropic — AI processing for CV improvement and cover letter generation.
• Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure.
• Neon — database hosting.

These providers act as data processors on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

AI processing

Your CV text is sent to Anthropic's API to generate improvements. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing. We send only the text content — no personal identifiers beyond what your CV already contains.

Data retention

Your CV generations are stored in your account so you can access them in your history. We retain this data for as long as your account is active.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@rsumr.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

International data processing

rsumr is operated from Sweden. However, some of our service providers (listed above) process data in countries outside the EU/EEA, including the United States. Where this occurs, we rely on the provider's standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect your data.

Cookies

We use a single authentication cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and applicable Swedish law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You also have the right to data portability and to object to processing. Contact us at the email below to exercise any of these rights.
